The RG6/U consists of a 18 AWG copper clad steel conductor. It has a gas injected dielectric. The shield consists of 100% aluminum foil and 60% aluminum braid. The RG6 CMR is swept to 2.2 GHz. The jacket is made up of PVC-Polyvinyl chloride, which is very flexible and has a temperature rating of -40 to 80 degrees C.
