Using wire size #12-2 copper with ground, this 120/240 Volt, replacement breaker is used in a General Electric load center. Typical applications, up to 8,800 watts, include electric baseboard heat, fan forced heat and air conditioners (240 Volt, up to 23,000 BTU).
