This is a Fixed, Deck Mounted, Skylight with Laminated, Low-E2, Argon Gas Filled Comfort Plus Glass. ENERGY STAR labeled, this skylight is ideal for visually expanding areas such as hallways, stairwells, and other dark spaces that can be transformed with light. It provides an economical alternative in creating a spacious home that is filled with nautral light. Comes with a wood frame made with robust mortise and tenon joints, pre-installed mounting brackets, a gasket system to drain any interior condensation to the outside, a drywall return for a quick and clean interior finish, and protective maintenance free aluminum cladding. It is streamlined exterior with a smooth, low profile does not obstruct your roofline. The laminated Comfort Plus glass provides a 99.9% protection factor against the suns UV rays. Requires a roof pitch of 15 (3/12) to 85 degrees. Manual and electric shades and blinds are available via special order at your local Home Depot store. With shingles or shakes use EDL 106 Step Flashing Kit. Flashings kits for all other roofing types are available on a special order basis at your local Home Depot store. Flashing kits are sold separately.
