SunTouch is an electric tile warming system that installs in thin-set or self-leveling mortar to warm tile, stone, vinyl or laminate flooring. It is superb for bathrooms, kitchens, entries, or any room with cold floors. SunTouch will warm the floor and keep it dry, as well. It adds warmth to the floor, along with the entire room. The SunTouch system consists of an electric mat (or mats) and a control (either programmable or non-programmable). The system comes with an in-depth installation manual and installation video. The mat installs very easily - just roll it out on the subfloor or backerboard and secure it with the double-sided tape provided, or just staple it down. Then apply the mortar. The mortar easily flows through the open weave of the mat to bond with the subfloor or backerboard. Let the mortare cure, then connect the system to 120vac power. The temperature of the floor is controlled with the SunTouch FloorStat. If you install the Programmable FloorStat, the floor will turn on and off based on your schedule. The entire system is very affordable. The materials cost for a average floor is only $300 and the operating cost is just pennies per day.
