This classic watering can is manufactured in England by Haws, who have been making watering cans since 1886. This is the traditional longreach watering can for the gardener who wants the very best. Crafted from heavy gauge steel and then galvanized for long life and ruggedness, this can has an additional powder coat finish in green applied to it. With two handles, the watering can is perfectly balanced for effortless watering. The removable oval brass rose delivers a fine spray for watering seedlings and delicate plants. The rose can be turned to point upwards for a delicately spray or turned downwards for a heavier spray. A filter at the base of the spout prevents debris from clogging up the rose. The extra long spout is useful for reaching the back of the flower border or for watering hard to reach areas. The tall neck prevents water spilling out when the can is tipped forward for watering.
