Quick Load Drywall Taper

Quick-Load Taper or Banjo: Hinged, metal mud compartment is quickly filled for easy loading and clean up. Front mudflow dam is adjustable, controlling flow of material during taping application. Holds up to 500 linear feet of drywall tape for longer use. Carefully manufactured from rigid light weight aluminum. Includes side strap and wood carry handle. User information: Thin all purpose joint compound with water to a consistency of Yogurt. Open the door on the mud box of the Quick-load Taper and fill bottom section with thinned compound. Close the mud box door but do not latch it closed. Open the tape retaining door and load a roll of paper tape so it unwinds counter-clockwise. Feed the end of the paper tape through the slot at the bottom/back end of the mud box. Close and latch the mud box door. Loosen the two wing nuts on the Tapers angled nose and adjust the mud flow dam so there is 1/16 inch gap between the mud flow dam and the paper tape. Grab the end of the paper tape and pull out 24 to 36 inch
