Charming silhouettes in gray, blue and chartreuse depict Chartreuse, a liqueur originally made by French Carthusian monks. This liqueur, made according to a secret formula, contains 130 different herbs. Green Chartreuse is stronger than yellow Chartreuse, and somewhere between the two is the color we call "chartreuse."
